Chez Barone is located inside the Relais Palazzo del Barone, situated in a quiet and privileged position on the Sorrento hills and surrounded by greenery, among lush citrus groves and centuries-old olive groves. From the Relais you can admire enchanting views over the Bay of Sorrento, the Gulf of Naples with the majestic Mount Vesuvius and Capri with its famous Faraglioni. Harvest vegetables by your hand from our organic garden
During our cooking classes we use only top quality ingredients collected with love and dedication, directly from our garden, to fully savor its authenticity and taste. Our staff daily takes care of the vegetable garden, the olive grove, the vineyard, the citrus grove in all phases, from sowing to the final harvest.

How to reach us
From the railway station
If you prefer to reach us by train, from the Central Station Garibaldi in Naples take the Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento. Once in Sorrento, leaving the station, you will find the SITA bus stop departing every 30 minutes until 11:00PM.
Take the bus direction Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi, via Nastro Verde and get off at the Via Nastro Verde Olivi stop, then walk for about 150 meters. Adjacent to Via Nastro Verde Olivi there is Via Montecorbo, take it and walk 150 meters up to the no. 15 (the signs indicate the direction and location of Palazzo del Barone).
Contacting us in advance, you will find our Golf Car at the bus stop, which will take you and your luggage to the Palazzo.
From Naples Airport
From Naples Capodichino International Airport you can reach us using the direct bus line for Sorrento, Curreri bus, departing every hour until 7:30PM.
Once you arrive at the Sorrento Station, you can take the SITA bus direction S. Agata sui Due Golfi, Via Nastro Verde. The bus stop is Via Nastro Verde Olivi in Priora / Sorrento.
Adjacent to Via Nastro Verde Olivi there is Via Montecorbo, take it and walk 150 meters up to the no. 15 (the signs indicate the direction and location of Palazzo del Barone).
Contacting us in advance, you will find our Golf Car at the bus stop, which will take you and your luggage to the Palazzo.
If you prefer to be autonomous, you can rent a private car with driver: contact us for additional information and to reserve, so that we can choose together the best option based on your needs.
From the highway
From Naples or Salerno:
- Take the A3 highway and exit at Castellammare di Stabia.
From Castellammare di Stabia to Sorrento:
- Travel on SS 145 for about 27 km to reach Sorrento.
In Sorrento:
- Upon reaching Sorrento, take Via degli Aranci.
- Travel along Via degli Aranci for about 1.2 km.
- At the end of Via degli Aranci, there is a Stop sign, and across from it, you will see Hotel Tirrenia.
- Turn left and continue for about 1.3 km.
At the Stop:
- Be attentive at this point because there is a junction.
- Keep left and follow the signs for S. Agata.
Towards the Palazzo del Barone:
- Below the Blue sign for S. Agata, there is a sign for Palazzo del Barone indicating 3.2 km.
- Follow this road (Via Nastro Verde) for 3.2 km.
Additional directions:
- After covering 3.2 km, a Palazzo del Barone sign indicates a right turn at 20 meters.
- Another Palazzo del Barone sign indicates Via Montecorbo, which should be followed for 150 meters.
- The structure is on the right at number 15.
